Tubular Skylights allow natural sunlight to be directed from the rooftop down through a highly reflective tube and then diffused at the ceiling level. This delivers natural sunlight from the ceiling to the floor without any color distortions to bring out the true beauty of your home decor. Tubular skylights capture direct and ambient light, providing exceptional illumination, even on cloudy days and in early morning or late afternoon when the sun is low in the sky.

Our residential Velux Sun Tunnel fits between the rafters and ceiling joists of your home, and thus require no structural modification.

What areas of your home could use more natural light? Bathrooms, hallways, kitchens, utility rooms or wherever you need natural light. Whether you are building new construction or remodeling existing, Tubular Skylights are an energy efficient choice for commercial and residential lighting. Help save our natural resources by reducing energy consumption and allow natural daylight into the home and minimize the reliance on electricity to create artificial light in the space, thus reducing the monthly power bill.

Today, many studies show that natural sunlight helps combat depression and show that natural full- spectrum sunlight greatly contributes to increased productivity in the workplace and to an overall feeling of well-being. Sunlight deprivation can lead to a condition that experts call “Seasonal Affective Disorder,” also known as S.A.D. or the winter blahs. By bringing light from the sun into your house, or home office, a Tubular Skylight can help you beat the winter blahs.

Exposure to natural light can also be very practical for some people. Allowing daylight into the home helps minimize the reliance on electricity to create artificial light in the space, thus reducing the monthly power bill. People with less than perfect vision often find it is easier to observe small details when using natural light instead of artificial light. There are some anecdotal reports of people recovering faster from colds and even surgical procedures if they are exposed to a certain amount of sunlight each day.
