Protect Local Wildlife. Preserve Your Glass.

Prevent bird collisions without sacrificing your view

To a bird, modern architectural glass doesn’t exist. They don’t see a barrier; they see a continuation of their environment.

There are two primary causes of fatal window strikes:

Daytime Reflection: Highly reflective windows mirror the nearby trees, sky, and landscape. Birds perceive this reflection as open flyway and strike the glass at full speed.

Transparency: Corner windows or glass walkways allow birds to see straight through to habitat on the other side, tempting them to try and fly “through” the building.

A new study suggests the true avian toll of building collisions in the United States reaches well over 1 billion deaths annually.*  Unfortunately, as our skylines grow, so do these fatal collisions, creating both an ecological crisis and a persistent maintenance issue for facility managers.

The Solution: Making the Invisible, Visible.

Bird Strike Prevention Film works by disrupting the reflection on the glass. We apply specialized films to the exterior surface that feature subtle patterns—such as small dots, thin lines, or UV-reactive grids.

While these patterns are minimalist and unobtrusive to the human eye (similar to looking through a window screen), they create “visual noise” that birds can clearly see. This signals to the bird that the area is a solid barrier, causing them to divert their flight path long before impact.

Will it Ruin My View?

Absolutely not. Modern bird-safe films are engineered for aesthetic neutrality.

Because your eyes focus on the distant scenery outside, the subtle pattern on the glass quickly fades into the background of your vision. You retain natural light and clear sightlines, while gaining peace of mind.
